Philippa Pickavance specialises in acquisitions, sales and lettings of commercial property throughout the Midlands.
Philippa has over 30 years experience, training at the University of Reading with a degree in Land Management and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). She initially started her career in London working for Chesterton and moved to Birmingham in the 1980’s, joining Chesshire Gibson to deal with industrial premises. However, the majority of her career was spent at King Sturge (now merged with JLL) where she worked in both industrial and office agency markets for 17 years and rose to partner level in charge of the office agency team.
Her career has also included heading agency teams at LSH, Deloitte Real Estate and Drivers Jonas where she was partner prior to the merger with Deloitte in 2010.
Philippa is a past chairman of the Midlands branch of the Industrial Agents Society (IAS) and the Office Agents Society (OAS) and a founder member and a past chairman of the Birmingham Office Market Forum (BOMF). She is currently a committee member of the British Council for Office (BCO) and member of the Investment Property Forum (IPF).
